King of Prussia Hotel Honored for Superior Quality and Customer Satisfaction

 

King of Prussia – August 27, 2010 – Intercontinental Hotels Group has awarded the Crowne Plaza Philadelphia Valley Forge its highest honor for quality and service, the Torchbearer Award for 2010.

 

The hotel, led by General Manager, Bob McGowan, was recognized for its consistent quality standards and superior service excellence. When asked to share the distinguishing factors that attributed to this accomplishment, McGowan said, “Like any great team or business, we’ve compiled the best hospitality professionals that not only know what it takes to consistently deliver outstanding service but they truly enjoy doing it”. 

 

The Torchbearer Award is presented annually to a select few hotels that achieve the highest levels of excellence in all aspects of the hotel’s operation, from quality to customer satisfaction evaluated over a consecutive 12-month period.

 

Commenting on the importance of this award, McGowan added, “We continue to strive to find improvements that our clients appreciate.  This recognition is just one more indication that we are meeting the high standards we have set for ourselves.
