Liberty Conference Center Invests $30k for Audio Visual System UpgradeFriday April 2, 2010 Liberty Conference Center Invests $30k for Audio Visual System Upgrade
King of Prussia – March 25, 2010 – Out of over 360 hotels that cater to the Philadelphia-area business market, only slightly more than a handful have meeting spaces that meet the exacting standards of the International Association of Conference Centers. Like all active IACC members, The Liberty Conference Center at the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge Hotel complies with its universal criteria to assure the most productive meeting environment. The recent $30k upgrade is a valuable investment that the Liberty Conference Center sees as a means to providing the best meeting experience possible.
“We decided on implementing this upgrade based on feedback we received from our clients. We value their comments and wanted to show that we are listening” said Bob McGowan, general manager. “Both a high-resolution DPL projector and new lighting and sound control interface system in our amphitheater will impress meeting participants as well as the most savvy trainers. Additionally, we included a Blue Ray DVD player and TV tuner to allow for enhanced flexibility during presentations. All of this may be controlled by a wireless touch screen panel or via a wall mounted touch panel.”
Commenting on the importance of the client feedback, McGowan added, “We continue to strive to find improvements that our clients appreciate. This system upgrade is just one more indication that we are meeting the high standards we have set for ourselves. The Crowne Plaza Valley Forge is dedicated to providing its guests with the best service on every level.”
Located across from the King of Prussia Mall, the Crowne Plaza Valley Forge features 225 deluxe guest rooms; two elegantly designed ballrooms for social and corporate events; complimentary access to Bally’s Fitness Center; the state-of-the-art, dedicated Liberty Conference Center with 130-seat amphitheater; and Chef Spaulding’s award-winning cuisine at Stirling’s Restaurant. The Center easily handles up to 130 in a tiered amphitheater with a large, disappearing media screen and high-backed, 10-positon ergonomic chairs. That kind of specially engineered space is one of the IACC member requirements – along with skilled, certified conference planners with a support team as well as a complete meeting package with guest rooms, three meals a day scheduled to respond to the flexible meeting schedule, continuous refreshment breaks, 24-hour meeting rooms, conference services and audiovisual support. |
