VETERAN’S DAY CONCERT TO FEATURE 80’S ROCK BANDS
Songbird Entertainment, in conjunction with Choice Bar & Grill of Atlantic City, have announced their Veteran’s Day concert, ‘Rockin the Walls at Boardwalk Hall’ at the historic venue on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 6p.m. This 80’s rock music concert will feature WAR, Asia featuring John Payne, and Journey former lead vocalist, Steve Augeri.

This musical trip down memory lane will be headlined by legendary funk band, WAR, best known for infusing various rhythms of funk, Latin, blues, jazz and reggae to deliver favorites including, “Low Rider”, “Cisco Kid” “Why Can’t We Be Friends” and many more hits that crossed cultural barriers.
Classic rock group, ASIA, featuring John Payne will also be part of this rock classic concert, you can expect the audience to dance, sing and reminisce when Asia featuring John Payne plays the first chords of “Only Time Will Tell”, “Don’t Cry”, “Sole Survivor” and of course, “Heat of the Moment” are heard.
Appearing along with WAR, and Asia featuring John Payne, will be Special Guest Journey, former lead singer Steve Augeri, who is set to take the stage and perform some of the most popular singles like the cross-generational mega hit “Don’t Stop Believing”, Billboard chart toppers “Open Arms,” Anyway You Want It” and many of the 18 to 40 singles.
Michael Selvanto of Songbird Entertainment stated, that this concert was finally made possible by the backing of CHOICE BAR & GRILL, a new company soon to be opening here in Atlantic City.
Selvanto also added “that if it wasn’t with the help of Nick Conti, and Choice Bar & Grill, this concert would not be possible. Choice Bar and Grill is located at 470 N. Albany Ave, Atlantic City, and plans to open just in time for the concert. Nick Conti, said that he is looking forward to this concert, and plans to invest in more concerts, He is a long time resident of Atlantic City, and business owner. “I want to see Atlantic City grow again, and I will do my best to help make it grow,” Mr. Conti said.
“We hope to make this concert memorable” Selvanto, added “we plan to work in conjunction with our radio media in giving away 4 signed guitars from the concert, and also plan something that has not been done before” “at the concert we will be picking out three seat numbers and each number will have the chance to come down on stage and perform with the groups, I think this will add to the excitement of the concert. We will also be honoring our Veterans at the show.
