Elmwood Park Zoo’s Golfing fore Conservation

Blue Bell, PA - Elmwood Park Zoo’s Golfing fore Conservation at Bluestone Country Club was not your average outing – although if you are familiar with the zoo, you know everything they do is a little more wild! Golfing fore Conservation was the zoo’s fourth “95th Celebration Event” of the year (the last being a black tie gala on November 14th also planned at Bluestone) and hosted nearly 100 golfers, in addition to bison, bald eagles, and yes – even giraffe! Hole contests and enhancements, like Brooklyn Brewery, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, and “Show Us Your Tots” food cart ensured no player went hungry or thirsty, while a golf ball gun, trivia wheels, animal fact stations, and animal meet and greets brought the zoo’s award-winning education programs out on the course.

Like all events held by Elmwood Park Zoo, the funds raised during Golfing fore Conservation directly benefits the zoo’s growth, animals care, and facility improvements. You can help the zoo continue its 95th anniversary celebrations by joining them at the first-ever black tie gala! Learn more at
