MRS. FIELDS COOKIES PARTnERS WITH SPECTRA TO OPEN STANDS IN ATLANTIC CITY CONVENTION CENTER AND JIM WHELAN BOARDWALK HALL IN TIME FOR NJSIAA HIGH SCHOOL WRESTLING AND THE ATLANTIC CITY BOAT SHOW
Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, which provides Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center, today announced a partnership with Mrs. Fields Cookies, who is known for their warm, freshly baked cookies right out of the oven. Mrs. Fields will offer two of its most desired items – freshly baked cookies and brownies – at both venues.
The newly branded carts, which are located on the concourse at Boardwalk Hall and exhibit floor of the Atlantic City Convention Center, will debut this week at the NJSIAA High School Wrestling Championships and the 2018 Atlantic City Boat Show respectively.
“We are excited to bring America’s favorite gourmet cookies and brownies to Atlantic City’s historic Boardwalk Hall and its meeting and convention hub, Atlantic City Convention Center,” said Chris Garrow, Co-owner of Casino Cookie Empire, LLC, a licensed franchisee of Mrs. Fields. “In addition to the many options both these venue already offer, you will now be able to treat yourself to a taste of American culinary history with Mrs. Fields!"
“Mrs. Fields brand cookies are sweet addition to the food and beverage options we offer our customers here at Boardwalk Hall. A fresh baked cookie or brownie is a nice way to end a meal, or hold you over until the next one,” said Spectra’s Jim Wynkoop, General Manager of Boardwalk Hall.
Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center are owned and funded by the New Jersey Casino Reinvestment Development Authority (CRDA). Spectra by Comcast Spectacor provides both Venue Management and Food Services & Hospitality to Boardwalk Hall and the Atlantic City Convention Center.
