Cape May, NJ – January 22, 2019 – Get away while giving back at The Grand Hotel’s first annual ‘Grand Girls Gone Pink’ event in partnership with Living Beyond Breast Cancer from Friday, March1 through Sunday, March 3. Tickets for this fun-filled weekend are from $352 per "girlfriend", and The Grand Hotel will donate $50 per Grand Girl Package sold to Living Beyond Breast Cancer, an organization dedicated to connecting people with trusted breast cancer information and a community of support.
With an emphasis on supporting Living Beyond Breast Cancer and fostering health and wellness, the ‘Grand Girls Gone Pink’ event will feature several exciting activities and unlimited use of the indoor pool and hot tub, all within steps of Cape May’s soothing beaches and charming downtown.
“The mission of Living Beyond Breast Cancer is near and dear to many of us at The Grand Hotel, so we’re really excited to partner with such an important organization,” said Owner, Bob Belansen.
The weekend getaway includes three days and two nights lodging at The Grand Hotel. The hotel’s unhurried lifestyle makes for the ideal location for ‘Girls Gone Pink’ participants to sit back, relax and rejuvenate. Ladies will be welcomed with a glass of champagne and delicious hors d’oeuvres to begin a beautiful Welcome Reception on Friday evening, followed by a themed party celebration and open bar.
“We are excited to partner with The Grand Hotel to provide a fun-filled girls' weekend and a way to give back to women and families impacted by breast cancer,” said Jean Sachs, CEO of Living Beyond Breast Cancer.
Saturday morning kicks off with breakfast featuring fare from local Cape May vendors, followed by a one-of-a-kind “Package Perk” for participants to indulge in. Ladies may choose one of the following as their “Package Perk” when booking their stay: a $40 Spa Treatment Voucher at Accents on Beauty or Cape May Day Spa; a Trolley and Winery Tasting Tour at the Cape May Winery; or a Paint and Sip Party. Participants can also sign up for on-site Wellness Yoga, the perfect opportunity to reflect and relax.
Saturday night offers more excitement with a second themed party celebration and open bar featuring a “Land and Sea” buffet. Ladies will then be invited to enjoy an after-party at Hemingway’s, a 2018 Best of South Jersey restaurant located right at the hotel, where the winner of a stunning Cape May Raffle Basket will be announced. To complete the weekend, Sunday morning will feature a second breakfast with local Cape May vendor fare.
