Peddler’s Village Merchants Continue to Serve the Community
The newly established “Virtual Village” is a gateway to specialty products and services offered by small, locally owned businesses
Many merchants in Peddler’s Village, a countryside shopping, dining, lodging, and family entertainment destination in the heart of historic Bucks County, PA, are continuing to provide products and services to the community during the coronavirus pandemic. To protect both customers and employees, they have implemented new business models and delivery methods, including shipping and/or curbside pick-up services.
A full list of operating shops—the vast majority of which are locally owned small businesses—can be found at PeddlersVillage.com. Available products in the “Virtual Village” include beverages, baked goods, cooking materials, books, toys and games, home furnishings and hardware, clothing and accessories, self-care soaps and other products, art, specialty foods, and more. Many merchants are also offering discounts and other purchasing incentives.
“We are working very closely with our retailers to support them during this extremely difficult time,” said Peddler’s Village Chief Operating Officer Bob McGowan. “We have great respect for all of them. They are passionate, dedicated businesspeople who are now becoming even more determined, limber, and innovative than ever. We encourage everyone to help our community-based businesses now and in the future as we navigate this incredibly challenging situation.”
