Philadelphia, PA – The Philadelphia Area Chapter of Meeting Professionals International (PAMPI) honored Jim Cohn, Publisher/Editor and founder of Mid-Atlantic Events Magazine their annual highest award, the President’s Award at their annual Awards Gala on Wednesday, June 17th at the Radisson Plaza Warwick Blu, Philadelphia, PA.
The Award was presented by outgoing PAMPI President Anne Madden of Maritz Travel Company. “Jim’s 27 years of strength within the community and consistent assistance with all areas of the PAMPI organization as well as helping other organization’s regional meetings, conferences, conventions, trade shows, special events and hospitality industries made him an easy candidate for this award. Also, his guidance and leadership with both new members of the association and seasoned planners needing suggestions and advice helped earn him this prestigious award” said Anne Madden.
The President’s Award is presented to that company, association or individual who has shown their support to the region’s largest meeting planner industry as well as given their time, expertise and knowledge to help grow the hospitality community in Southeastern Pennsylvania, Greater Philadelphia, Central and South Jersey and Delaware.
