Annapolis - Visit Annapolis & Anne Arundel County announced the appointment of Dan Cook as its Director of Marketing and Communications. Dan brings more than 20 years of destination retail, tourism, and placemaking experience to his new position serving most recently as Acting Director of Tourism for the Prince William County Office of Tourism.

 

Baltimore - On behalf of the MM&P MATES Program, the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies (MITAGS) and Maritime Conference Center (MCC) announced the appointment of Eric Friend as their new Executive Director.
 

Ocean City - Kim Mueller has been named, Director of Sales, Tourism Department for the Town of Ocean City, Maryland.

 

Ocean City – Robin Lattinville has started a new position as Vice President Sales and Marketing at TKo Hospitality, LLC.

 

TKo Hospitality also welcomed Shawn Damiano and Vincent Pierotti to their family. Shawn is the new General Manager of the Hotel Monte Carlo and Vinnie has joined as the Marketing and Sales Director for the Monte Carlo Hotel Group.

 

NEW JERSEY

Atlantic City - Ocean Casino Resort has promoted Bill Callahan, previously Interim Chief Executive Officer, to General Manager. Bill joined Ocean in 2020 as Senior Vice President of Hospitality and was promoted to Executive Vice President of Hospitality & Gaming in July 2021.

 

Edison - Nikey Pierre has been named Event Manager at e.Rebublic.

New York City - Lynnette Camacho has been named, Event Producer at Sportico.

 

Niagara Falls - Joe Holody has been named, Vice President of Sales for Destination Niagara USA.

Altoona - Heather Chestney has been named, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Blair County Convention Center.

Garnet Valley- IMS Technology Services announced that Mark Cascio has joined their team as Director of Production Management.

 

King of Prussia - The Valley Forge Casino Resort announced that Dedren Bailey has been named their new Vice President of Marketing. Dedren, a seasoned professional led marketing teams in multiple gaming markets in Pennsylvania, Maryland, and the Gulf Coast. The property also announced the appointment of Sybil Davis as Director of Sales.

 

Lancaster - The Holiday Inn Lancaster has added to their team. Frank Rivera has recently joined as General Manager and will also be focusing on leading the hotel through the opening of The Imperial Terrace which is currently being constructed on the second level of the Imperial Ballrooms. Other appointments at the Hotel are, Mara Sultan has been hired as Sales Manager and will serve the Association, Corporate and Tour & Travel market segments.  Mara has 18 years of experience with a variety of Lancaster properties and Discover Lancaster. Philadelphia - The Kimmel Cultural Campus announced that Judia Jackson has been appointed Chief People & Culture Officer for The Philadelphia Orchestra and Kimmel Center, Inc. - Destination DC announced William Adams’s appointment as their new Director of Convention Sales. In his new position, Bill will attract convention business and develop sales policies and programs. Bill joins DDC with more than 20 years of experience in the attraction, tourism, hospitality, and convention world and most recently the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority.

 

- The National Restaurant Association announced the appointment of Michelle L. Korsmo as the Association’s President & Chief Executive Officer and CEO of the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation. In this role, Michelle will be responsible for guiding the Association’s strategic path toward its vision for a thriving restaurant and foodservice community.
